(Technology Education and Access Model) An exciting partnership between the City of Miami's Elevate Miami program and the Miami-Dade Broadband Coalition made it possible to provide basic computer training skills to seniors and working-age citizens at several sites located in the City. Thanks to the Broadband Coalition grant, the participants  received a refurbished computer and may qualify for a free year of Internet access where possible. 

The first round of classes graduated 82 students and received their computers on February 10^th.  We are very happy to announce that, the second group of 37 students completed successfully their training and received their computers on Friday March 18^th, 2011.  Remember, if you have any questions or need assistance with your new computer, click here or call Per Scholas directly at 305-576-8113, ext 100.
